- Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.
- Avoid cliches like the plague. (They’re old hat.)
- Employ the vernacular.
- Eschew ampersands & abbreviations, etc.
- Parenthetical remarks (however relevant) are unnecessary.
- It is wrong to ever split an infinitive.

- I don’t have a very interesting life.
- My life has been taken over by Criminal Minds and Glee.
- I am currently in the longest (and only serious) relationship I’ve ever been in.
- I have no idea where I see myself in 5 years.
- I don’t even know where I see myself next week.
I'm sorry but in my opinion, the Marine Corps has the sexiest uniforms.
